Deckify ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Deckify iOS app, how we use it, and how we keep it safe.
• Account data – your email address and display name. • Study data – flashcard decks, cards, review logs, and session results, stored to enable cross-device sync. • Usage data – aggregate, anonymised analytics. No personally identifiable information is included. • Device data – we do not collect device identifiers, location data, or contacts.
Your information is used solely to: • Provide and improve the Deckify service. • Sync your data across your devices. • Send optional study reminder notifications (only when you opt in). We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your data is stored using Supabase, a GDPR-compliant backend provider. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256).
Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete all your data at any time from Settings → Data → Delete All Data.
Push notifications are entirely opt-in. You can disable them at any time from Settings → Notifications or via your device's system settings.
Deckify may introduce AI-assisted features in the future. If and when these are added, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe how any related data is processed before those features go live.
Deckify is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice in the app. Your continued use of Deckify after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

By downloading or using Deckify, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. • By using Deckify, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. • You may not create accounts on behalf of others without their permission. • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You retain full ownership of any flashcard content you create. • By sharing a deck publicly, you grant Deckify a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and distribute it within the app. • You must not upload content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes third-party intellectual property rights. • We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms without notice.
You agree not to: • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Deckify service or its APIs. • Circumvent authentication, security measures, or access controls. • Use the service to distribute spam, malware, or any harmful content. • Impersonate another person or entity.
Deckify is currently free to use. If paid tiers or in-app purchases are introduced, pricing, billing terms, and any changes to free features will be clearly communicated in advance.
Deckify may introduce AI-assisted features in the future. Additional terms specific to those features will be presented before they become available.
Deckify is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation of the app. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Deckify and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the app.
These Terms are governed by applicable law. As Deckify is a personal project without a registered legal entity, any disputes will be handled in good faith.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify you of material changes via an in-app notice.
